Destination Covered :Day 1 : Arrival at the Jaipur Airport
On your arrival at Jaipur airport, our representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After finishing up your check-in, you can start with your city tour.
Your first destination in the city will be the City Palace. The Palace is the most remarkable monument of Jaipur. A portion of this palace has been converted into a museum, depicting the elegance of the Rajput’s. Maharani Palace and Baggi Khana are the two most striking museums among these. Maharani Palace, which was once the royal hall of the Rajput queens, now displays the weapons and ammunition used by the Royal Family.
Right outside the Palace is a local market. There a plethora of shops that offer traditional Rajasthani products, you can go visit the shops and see if anything interests you.
Later on, you can head back to your hotel for the overnight stay and dinner.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Jaipur
On Day 2, you will start your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then head towards the first attraction point in the city.
You will visit the Hawa Mahal today, located right in the heart of the city. Even though this Palace was built during ancient times, it reflects the scientific vision of Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in a distinct way. The 953 windows of this Palace have been designed in such a way that irrespective of the time or season of the year, cool breeze always persists inside the palace. This actually made the Hawa Mahal, the favourite summer holiday destination of the Rajput family.
Your next checkpoint for the day is the Amber Palace and Fort. The highlight of the fort is its Sheesh Mahal. The hall is designed with numerous pieces of mirror tiles and in such a way that even a single ray entering into the room can illuminate the entire hall. Apart from that, the intricate wall paintings, work of fresco and the use of precious gems and jewels in these paintings enhance the charisma of the fort.
Your last attraction point in the city is the much acclaimed Jantar Mantar. The observatory is one of the largest out of the 5 in India. It consists of fourteen geometric devices that measure time, predict eclipses and track the location of stars and also calculate the Earth’s movement around the sun.
End your day, by heading back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.
Day 3 : Travel Jaipur to Ranthambore (155.0 km. / 3 hours)
Today you will be taking a road trip to Ranthambore. Your new city is 155 kms away from you and it should take you around 3 hours to reach your destination.
Upon arrival, get a little rest at the hotel and then start exploring the city. Your first destination is the Ranthambore Fort. This fort stands majestically atop a hill overlooking the entire park. The view of the surrounding keeps getting better as you go up but the view from the top itself can only be described as breathtaking. Take along a good pair of binoculars and if possible a camera with a very powerful lens when visiting the fort.
After the tour of the fort, you will be going to look out for the Tigers. Ranthambore offers some of the finest opportunities for sighting the magnificent tiger out in the wild. A mix of rolling hills and meadows, lakes and rivulets, is home to an incredible variety of flora and fauna. Apart from the tiger, you can also spot sloth bear, leopard, caracal, jackal, fox, hyena and mongoose.
Post this thrilling experience head back to your hotel for some dinner and the night stay.
Day 4 : Travel Ranthambore to Udaipur (411.6 km. / 7 hours)
Owing to the long 7 hours road trip to Udaipur today, make sure you have a filling breakfast and hit the road as soon as possible. The distance you need to cover is 411.6 kms.
Upon your arrival, complete your check-in process and after your freshen up you can start exploring the city. Your first destination for today is the Kumbhalgarh Fort.
The large complex of the Fort offers ancient remnants to explore and one can spend a pleasurable time while strolling through the ravines of Kumbhalgarh Fort. It is said that the baby king Udai Singh was kept here, safe, during the time of battles.
After the tour of the entire fort, you must head back to your hotel to catch up on some rest and be fresh for sightseeing on day 5.
Day 5 : Sightseeing in Udaipur
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast and re-start your city tour.
Your first destination will be Sahelion Ki Bari. The garden has many stories and myths that come across to us, now it is up to you to pick the best story you like. They say the garden was built by the king to spend quality time with the queen. Some say it was built by the king as a gift to the queen. The garden is one of the most beautiful places in Udaipur.
The next checkpoint is Badi Lake. The lake is the kind of place, which you can opt for when you want to take a break from your daily routine. The place has beautiful flora and fauna, which makes you feel connected directly to nature. You can sit near the shore for hours and can adulate the charm of the lake.
Your final destination for the day is Ambrai Ghats. Go there to just relax. The awe-inspiring lakeside view of Pichola Lake with its cool breeze is a rare combination to get. There are also a few locals who come to this viewpoint to play their musical instruments by the lake. The visit is definitely a refreshing one.
You can then head back to your hotel and get some sleep.
Day 6 : Travel Udaipur to Jodhpur (250.6 km. / 4 hours)
Today you will be travelling to Jodhpur and the distance you need to cover is 250.6 kms. It should take you around 4 hours to reach Jodhpur.
Post your check-in process, you must head out in the city to visit its attractions. But before you visit any other place it is important to visit the renowned Mehrangarh Fort. Still run by the Jodhpur royal family, Mehrangarh is packed with history and legend. The fort is so massive that it has around 7 gates from where you can enter. This architectural marvel is a must-visit because of the amazing interiors that speaks so much about the culture of India.
After a tiring walk around the fort, you must head back to your hotel for some rest and dinner.
Day 7 : Sightseeing in Jodhpur
Kick-start your day with the breakfast routine and then head out to explore the city further. The first destination of the day is the Umaid Bhavan Palace.
The palace is now also a luxury hotel. It is a wonderful amalgam of a fascinating past and a promising present. In addition to being of utmost historical value, this attraction offers amazing encounters ranging from heritage walks to unforgettable dining experiences. A visit to this Palace will give you an up close and personal dip into a sense of royalty.
Your next destination is Jaswant Thada. The place is a royal cenotaph built in white marble. It has a small pond and a pretty garden next to it. Jaswant Thada is considered an architectural landmark of the city and must be seen by one and all.
The final attraction point of the city is Toorji Ka Jhalra. Constructed in 1740, Toorji Ka Jhalra, commonly called step well. The intricate design of the well is its highlight. Also, it is one of the few remaining structures depicting the traditional water management systems of Jodhpur.
Once you finish with the tour of Toorji Ka Jhalra you can head back to your hotel.
Day 8 : Departure from Jodhpur
